Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd is seeking a dedicated trainer/assessor to manage a caseload of apprentices and work-based learners in Lincolnshire. The role emphasizes high-quality training, coaching, and timely assessment to meet apprenticeship standards and qualifications.

You will plan inductions, create training plans with employers, track progress, and ensure effective safeguarding and learner support while maintaining accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 5 subject sector specialism required.
• Must hold Level 3 CAVA and Level 3 AET qualifications.
• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade A*-C.
• Full, clean driving licence with access to vehicle.
• Desirable: BA in subject sector, IQA, CET, IOSH, First Aid at Work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and employer-based learners with high-quality training and assessment.
• Plan training, inductions, and regular reviews with learners and employers.
• Develop individual training plans to prepare learners for final assessments.
• Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing and digital skills support are provided.
• Record keeping and progress monitoring in electronic systems.
