KM Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Assessor to cover Manchester and surrounding areas. The position is home/field based with travel requirements and offers up to £33,000 and bonus potential.

You will assess learners to Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5, conduct observations, manage your caseload, and support learners through End Point Assessment while ensuring timely reviews and high-quality paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years childcare at management level.
• Qualified Assessor: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Level 5 qualification in Early Years / Childcare is essential.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years up to Level 5 with Functional Skills to Level 2.
• Meet KPI targets for visits, reviews, learner progression and quality paperwork.
• Manage a caseload of learners with remote and face-to-face observations.
• Maintain diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
• Support learners through End Point Assessment process.
• Organise and maintain learner progress documentation.
• Provide motivation, guidance and support to learners.

Essential Criteria

• Must be a qualified Assessor, holding: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Must have experience of working within Early Years Childcare (Nursery) at Management level.
• Must hold a recognised qualification in Early Years / Childcare at Level 5.
• Full, clean, UK driving licenceand access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include

• Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5, along with Functional Skills to level 2.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork and general administration.
• Manage a caseload of learners, conduct remote and face to face observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
• Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
• Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
