Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring a Team Leader for the room-based provision serving 0–5-year-olds at Edwalton Day Nursery in Nottingham. The role is permanent, with a 37.5–40 hour week across 52 weeks, and shifts Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 18:30.

The nursery emphasizes an inclusive culture, learning, and career development within its academy. You will lead a team, uphold the EYFS framework, and support each child’s development in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS to plan and implement learning through play.
• Ability to observe, assess and record childrens progress.
• Safeguarding and promoting child well-being.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver high-quality care for children aged 0–5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging EYFS activities.
• Observe, assess and record childrens progress.
• Safeguard and promote childrens safety and well-being.
