Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Team Leader for the Highfield Day Nursery in Edgbaston, Birmingham. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year) requires leading a room with Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and learn­ing experiences under EYFS guidance.

You will hold a DfE approved early years qualification (level 3+), demonstrate collaborative leadership, and safeguard every child.

Qualifications

• Qualified early years professional with a DfE approved qualification (level 3+).
• Experience in early years environment for the last couple of years or more.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to plan/high quality activities.
• Commitment to safeguarding of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room-based team as Team Leader and role model for best practices in care and learning.
• Plan and implement high-quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Collaborate with staff and empower the team to deliver outstanding care and achieve their potential.
