Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant for a school in Oldbury. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping access learning and build confidence.

The role involves assisting in planning engaging activities and promoting positive behaviour to enable learning across the Early Years. Experience with children and SEN is desirable; Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Oldbury. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupils in a group and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment across their Early Years.

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
