They are looking to appoint a motivated and reliable teaching assistant for a long-term, full-time temporary contract that will last the rest of the academic year. This role is based within the reception class.

Your new role: As a teaching assistant within this school, you will join an extremely supportive and welcoming team of professionals. You will work alongside the reception class teacher to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment for all pupils by building strong relationships, aiding in behaviour management, and utilizing various learning equipment. You will support the whole class, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and focusing on a pupil-centred approach to education. Responsibilities include delivering phonics sessions and interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis, and implementing positive behaviour strategies. Some pupils may be disruptive or disengaged; therefore, you will use positive reinforcement, DOJO, and brain breaks to maintain focus and support learning outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
• Full "Right to Work" in the UK
• Recent referenceable experience supporting pupils aged between 4–11
