Your new school

This Bristol Primary school is in search of a Teaching Assistant who specialises in SEND children to join their team from the start of term 6, working full-time in Key Stage 2 and providing one-on-one support to specific children. The school is located just outside the centre of Bristol with bus routes nearby and a car park on site. They are looking for a dedicated TA who will take on this role with enthusiasm and commitment.

Your new role

Specialising in SEND will give you further insight into children’s lives that require additional support. Working with an excellent team of teachers and staff, you will be assigned to one of two classes in the year group. You will play an active role in the development of these children, creating innovative ways for them to learn and grow, including one-on-one support.

Requirements to succeed in your new role

• Relevant Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
• Two recent references from your most recent jobs that are relevant
• Previous experience with young SEND children (desirable)
• Previous experience with children aged Key Stage 2
