Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a North Birmingham nursery to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant for 2-3-year-olds. You will support learning, play-based activities, and daily routines in a warm, safe EYFS setting.

The role involves personal care, safeguarding, and contributing to a nurturing environment. The hours align with school time, term-time only, and there are long-term opportunities with dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 2-3-year-olds in nursery or EYFS settings.
• Comfortable providing personal care and supporting hygiene routines.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Support learning and development through play-based activities.
• Encourage children’s communication, social and emotional development.
• Support children during mealtimes and daily nursery routines.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
