Job summary

Clockwork Education ltd has been approached by a welcoming school in the Stockton area to recruit an EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to support their setting. The role starts ASAP and runs five days a week through December, with the expectation of extension.

You will work in the nursery with small groups (and some 1:1 support), recording progress and adapting activities as needed to meet targets and pupil needs.

Qualifications

Level 2 EYFS qualification
Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
Good behaviour management

Responsibilities

Work within the nursery setting to support small groups of children, with potential 1:1 work
Record evidence of key children meeting targets
Use initiative to adapt activity plans as needed

Job description

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in the Stockton area to assist them to find a EYFS/Key Stage 1 based Teaching Assistant to support them.
The role will be starting ASAP at least and will involve you working 5 days a week until December atleast with the view to be extended.

Responsibilities

Working within the nursery setting of the school to work with small groups of children and may require some one-to-one work
Recording evidence of key children meeting targets
Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
