Job summary

Clockwork Education ltd has been approached by a welcoming school in the Stockton area to recruit an EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to support their setting. The role starts ASAP and runs five days a week through December, with the expectation of extension.

You will work in the nursery with small groups (and some 1:1 support), recording progress and adapting activities as needed to meet targets and pupil needs.

Qualifications

• Level 2 EYFS qualification
• Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
• Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
• Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
• Good behaviour management

Responsibilities

• Work within the nursery setting to support small groups of children, with potential 1:1 work
• Record evidence of key children meeting targets
• Use initiative to adapt activity plans as needed
