Job summary

Clockwork Education is supporting a welcoming school in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham to recruit an EYFS/Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant. The role starts ASAP and runs five days a week through to October half term, with a view to extension.

You will work within the nursery, supporting small groups and sometimes one-to-one, while recording evidence of progress and adapting activities as needed. A Level 2 EYFS qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification within EYFS.
• Ability to provide 2 x educational based references.
• Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge.
• Good behaviour management.
