Job summary

Clockwork Education Ltd is assisting a welcoming school in Hartlepool, County Durham in finding an Early Years Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The role is ongoing until October half-term with potential extension, based in the Nursery class and requires a candidate who can hit the ground running.

The position involves supporting small groups, recording progress, and occasional one-to-one work, with responsibilities including feeding and personal care as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Level 3 qualification.
• Ability to provide 2 educational references.
• Confident and experienced with small groups of children.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge.
• Good behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Early Years setting with small groups and some one-to-one support.
• Record evidence of key children meeting targets.
• Take initiative to adapt activity plans as needed.

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Hartlepool, County Durham, to assist them to find an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support them starting ASAP. The role will be ongoing until October half term with the view to be extended.

The lovely school require a Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within the school Nursery class. The school require someone with the relevant qualification who can join them and hit the ground running.

Early Years Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

• Working within the Early Years setting of the school to work with small groups of children and may require some one-to-one work
• Recording evidence of key children meeting targets
• Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
• Feeding and personal care

Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 qualification
• Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
• Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
• Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
• Good behaviour management
