We're working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools across North Somersetwho are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants to join their teams from November onwards. With multiple opportunities available, whether you're looking for flexible work, a longer-term placement, or your next step in education, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're someone who celebrates every milestone, enjoys getting stuck into creative activities, and loves helping children learn through play, you'll fit right in.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you'll support children as they take their first steps through education, helping to create a positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils within the classroom, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis.
No two days are the same. One moment you'll be helping a child sound out their first words, the next you'll be encouraging imaginative play, supporting early maths skills, or helping little learners build confidence, independence and friendships.
Expect plenty of stories, messy play, outdoor learning and those magical moments when a child's hard work finally clicks.
