Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistants to work flexibly in a welcoming Early Years setting in North Bristol. You choose when you work, with options for one or two days a week or regular flexible hours.

You’ll support children in an Early Years environment where play and exploration drive learning, with engaging activities to promote curiosity, independence and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery, EYFS, or childcare settings preferred.
• Willingness to engage in messy play, outdoor learning and creative activities.
• Flexible availability to work one or more days per week.
• Reliable team member who can support children with development.

Responsibilities

• Support children in an Early Years environment with play-based learning.
• Assist with engaging activities designed to promote curiosity and development.
• Collaborate with staff to provide a caring, safe learning space.

The role

You’ll support children within an Early Years environment where play and exploration are at the heart of learning, with engaging, well-resourced activities designed to encourage curiosity, independence and development.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, patient and nurturing
• Enjoys working with young children
• Can get involved with messy play, stories, outdoor learning and creative activities
• Is reliable and able to work well as part of a team
• Has previous nursery, EYFS or childcare experience, although relevant transferable experience will also be considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
