A leading primary school in Manchester is seeking an Early Years teaching assistant to support nursery pupils and deliver targeted interventions. The role offers excellent professional development opportunities and requires a candidate who shares the school's vision and values.
About The Role
We are seeking to employ an Early Years teaching assistant to work across our full-time nursery supporting pupils across nursery and delivering targeted interventions, with an emphasis on communication and language and early phonics.
Our Early Years provision comprises two full-time nurseries and reception classes housed within a large, modern open plan provision.
We are able to offer the successful candidate excellent professional development opportunities and the chance to work and grow alongside colleagues in our school.
We are looking for somebody who shares our vision and values and who is driven to go the extra mile and offer our pupils the best education they can.
About the Candidate
Candidates should have experience of working within Early Years and engaging with parents, colleagues and other professionals to support the development of all pupils.
They should be able to work effectively as part of a team, be creative, show initiative and flexibility, and be able to adapt teaching to enable all pupils to engage with the curriculum.
About Us
Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a two-form school, with the Ashbury Meadow Sure Start Centre attached. We work closely with Sure Start to support the transition of pupils into our Early Years department.
