Job Vacancy: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Openshaw, Greater Manchester (M11)
Full-time | Term-time only - Contract at school Available (permanent position)
Start Date: May 2025/ June 2025 - depending on your notice period
Salary: £97.50 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Openshaw, M11.

About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and the Early Years team to support children aged 3-5 in their learning and development. This is a vital role, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individual and group learning activities in line with EYFS curriculum
* Promoting children's emotional, physical and educational development
* Assisting with classroom organisation and the preparation of resources
* Observing, recording, and reporting on children's progress
* Supporting behaviour management and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

What We're Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or equivalent
* Experience working within an EYFS setting (nursery or school-based)
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Patience, creativity, and a caring nature
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
