Job Vacancy: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Openshaw, Greater Manchester (M11)
Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Start Date: June 2025 (or sooner if available)
Salary: £97.50 - £110 (depending on experience)

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Openshaw (M11) is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.

About the Role:
You will work closely with class teachers to support the teaching and learning of pupils in KS1. This role involves working with individuals, small groups, and occasionally supporting whole-class activities to help ensure all children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children's learning in class under the guidance of the teacher
* Helping to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated activities
* Assisting with the preparation and organisation of learning materials
* Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils
* Working with children with additional needs, where required
* Promoting a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment

We're Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Has previous experience working in a UK primary school setting
* Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively in a team
* Has strong communication skills and a positive, caring approach
* Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
