Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield. This role focuses on supporting young children during the crucial early stages of education and development, working closely with the class teacher in an EYFS setting.

You will help deliver engaging activities and support children’s communication, literacy and numeracy, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
• Experience supporting phonics programmes such as Little Wandle or Read Write Inc is desirable.
• Nurturing and patient demeanor.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support within the Early Years setting, helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically through engaging and creative learning experiences.

The Role:

• Support children within the Early Years classroom on a whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 basis
