Job summary

Hawthorn Primary School in Doncaster is seeking a caring Early Years Practitioner to support learning, development and welfare within our EYFS provision, creating a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive. The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable) and has EYFS experience, with a strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and teamwork.

We are seeking

Hawthorn Primary are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Early Years Practitioner (ideally with a level 3 qualification in Early Years) to join our friendly and dedicated Early Years Team. The successful candidate will support the learning, development and welfare of children within our Early Years provision, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for young children.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Ideally holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification. (this is desirable, not essential).
  • Has experience of working with children in an Early Years setting.
  • Has a sound understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates high expectations for children's learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to inclusion, equality and supporting every child to achieve their potential.
  • Understands their safeguarding responsibilities and is committed to promoting the welfare of children.
