Job summary

Hawthorn Primary School (Empowering Minds Academy Trust) in Doncaster seeks a caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to support learning and welfare in the Early Years provision. The role is 20 hours per week during term time, with start date ASAP and potential for progression within the trust.

You will work closely with the Early Years Team to create a safe, stimulating environment and to promote development in line with the EYFS framework while engaging with families and carers.

Qualifications

• Ideally holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and welfare of children in the EYFS.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support children's development.
