Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking Bank Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across various primary schools in Blackburn and Accrington. You’ll support teachers, deliver high-quality lessons, and assist in both one-to-one and group settings to help pupils, particularly those with additional needs.

Applicants should have a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning), be able to work flexibly, and be willing to undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

Job Description:
Veritas Education is seeking Bank Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across various primary schools in the areas of Blackburn and Accrington. This role will be supporting various schools, supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons. You’ll work closely with class teachers, assisting in both one-to-one and group settings, providing essential support to pupils, particularly those with additional needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, as well as support in group settings
• Help create an inclusive and stimulating environment for early years learners
• Manage classroom behaviour to support a positive, productive atmosphere

Requirements:
