Prospero Teaching is seeking an Early Years Teacher for flexible supply roles across South Manchester. You will deliver engaging EYFS lessons for Nursery and Reception, adapting activities to various development levels and coordinating with teaching staff.

This role offers daily supply or longer-term opportunities with part-time and full-time options. A focus on safeguarding and building a warm, inclusive learning atmosphere is essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• UK QTS required.
• Recent UK classroom experience in EYFS.
• Strong understanding of early reading, phonics and early maths development.
• Confident classroom management and organisation.

Aufgaben

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning across EYFS (Nursery and Reception).
• Support learning through structured activities and play.
• Deliver phonics, English and Maths lessons and cross-curricular activities.

• Establish consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations.
• Adapt activities to different levels of development and ability.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff.

Early Years Teacher - South Manchester

Location: South Manchester (areas including Wythenshawe, Chorlton and Withington)

Salary: GBP150 - GBP200 per day depending on experience

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Contract: Full or part-time and temporary. Temp - perm opportunities may be available

Early Years Teacher - requirements

• Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available.
• UK QTS.
• Recent UK classroom experience.
• Recent experience teaching EYFS (Nursery or Reception).
• Good understanding of early reading, phonics and early mathematical development.
• Confident classroom management and organisation.
• Ability to create a warm, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
• Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
