Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for Early Years Practitioners to work in South Manchester schools on a flexible supply basis. This role covers locations including Wythenshawe, Chorlton, Didsbury, Withington and Longsight.

Hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm with day rates GBP92.63 - GBP120 depending on qualifications and experience. Starting ASAP this temporary position offers valuable school experience and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold Right to Work in the UK – no sponsorship available
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential
• First Aid qualification
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years
• Appropriate CV history including gaps
• SEN/SEMH Awareness desirable
• UK school experience, ideally ≥6 months
• Training incl. safeguarding, prevent and allergy + anaphylaxis desirable

Early Years Practitioner - requirements

• Hold Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential
• First Aid qualification
• Hold an Enhanced Child DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years, including any appropriate child-related work experience
• Appropriate CV history including mention of any employment/studying gaps
• SEN/SEMH Awareness desirable
• Previous experience working in a UK school, ideally up to at least 6 months
• Updated training including safeguarding, prevent and allergy + anaphylaxis training (desirable however not essential as training is provided)
