Job summary

Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Teacher in Winchester. You will plan and deliver inspiring learning experiences and provide exceptional care to help each child develop and meet their needs.

The role involves accurate assessments and ensuring stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/EYTS/EYPS) or a full Level 6 Early Years Qualification is required, with a passion for making learning engaging and a strong safeguarding background.

Nursery –Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery Salary – £31,366.40 - £35,859.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience) Bonus - Welcome bonus of £1000 * Subject to T&Cs Location – Winchester

The Role As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for
  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
