Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting an experienced EYFS Teacher for a full-time post in Aintree, Sefton. The role runs ASAP until at least February 2027, with pay to scale after 12 weeks and a salary on MPS1–MPS6.

You will join a warm primary school committed to high-quality early years provision. Applicants must have QTS and at least one year of EYFS teaching experience, with an enhanced DBS and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class with play-based learning.
• Plan and deliver child-centred lessons aligned to EYFS.
• Support individual needs to ensure progress and inclusion.
• Collaborate with support staff and SENDCo to provide tailored support.
• Promote social, emotional, and language development through creative activities.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support development.
• Assess pupil progress and maintain EYFS records.

Position: EYFS Teacher (Full-time)

Location: Aintree, Sefton

Start Date: ASAP - February 2027

Salary: 32916 - 45352 per annum (MPS1 - MPS6) - Pay to scale after 12 weeks (dependent on experience)

Aspire People are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Aintree, Sefton, who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team on a full-time ASAP until at least February 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive school community that prides itself on delivering high-quality early education. The school is looking for a confident and experienced EYFS practitioner who can seamlessly step into the role and make an immediate impact.

Important: This position is open to experienced teachers only (MPS1 - MPS6). Candidates must have at least one year of recent EYFS teaching experience.

The Role:

• Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Planning and delivering play-based, child-centred lessons in line with the Early Years Framework.
• Supporting the individual needs of all pupils to ensure progress and inclusion.
• Working collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support.
• Promoting children's social, emotional, and language development through creative learning opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child's development.
• Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with EYFS expectations.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A minimum of one year of recent EYFS teaching experience (essential).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable teaching style.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the ability to obtain one)
• The ability to provide professional references covering the last two years.
