Job summary

Teach Now is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to lead a Reception class in Barnet, North London. You will plan engaging learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework, assess development, and build strong relationships with families.

The role involves collaboration with teaching assistants and the EYFS team in a well-resourced environment. The successful candidate will have QTS, recent EYFS/Reception experience, and a confident understanding of phonics and language development.

About the Role

Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Barnet. The school has a well-established Early Years provision where purposeful play, exploration and strong adult-child relationships are at the heart of learning.

You will take responsibility for a Reception class, working alongside experienced teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team. The environment is well resourced, with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor learning, and the school places particular emphasis on communication, early literacy and helping children develop confidence and independence.

The successful teacher will be expected to plan engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework, assess children’s development and build positive relationships with families.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent EYFS or Reception teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
