Academics/CPSS are looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Educator for a temporary position in an amazing Primary School based in Birmingham.

What skills and experience we are looking for in an Early Years Teacher:

1. Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
2. Being committed, passionate and having a positive outlook towards professional development is essential.
3. Ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and carers as an Early Years Teacher
4. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
5. Able to commute to Birmingham

Key Responsibilities for an Early Years Teacher:

1. To plan and implement activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
2. To observe, assess and record children's progress, and use this information to plan future activities and inform parents/carers of their child's progress
3. To provide a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families, and build positive relationships with parents/carers
4. To work in partnership with colleagues, sharing ideas and best practice to ensure the highest standards of care and education are provided
5. To ensure that all children are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted at all times as an Early Years Teacher
6. To adhere to all policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding and data protection
