Salary: MPS/UPS: Full Time – Permanent (we would consider part-time working and/or job share)

Start Date: September 2025

At Brockmoor and Brierley Hill Primary Schools, we start with the end in mind: exceptional outcomes for every child. Nothing less.We are unapologetically ambitious — for our children, our staff, and our communities. We believe in providing the very best from day one, and we expect every adult in our team to share that belief. There are no excuses here. Just a relentless drive to do what’s right for our pupils. That means going above and beyond, refusing to settle for ‘good enough,’ and always pushing for better. If that sounds like you — you’ll thrive with us. Why Join Us?

• PPA from home – because we trust professionals to manage their time with integrity

• We can offer flexible working requests such as part-time working or job shares

• No wasted effort – streamlined policies, no box-ticking, and paperwork with purpose

• A united, uplifting team – we challenge, support, and grow together

• Leadership with clarity and courage – we know where we’re going and how to get there

• Expert curriculum – we are proud to be a national CUSP Lead School

• A bigger stage – staff from across the country visit our classrooms to learn from us

• Real development – every teacher receives weekly coaching, supported by the WALKTHRUs programme for clarity and impact

• A culture of outward-facing excellence – with opportunities to visit other schools, study best practice, and bring the very best back to our children

We don’t do generic CPD. We craft bespoke development pathways:

• Want to lead a subject? We’ll support and coach you

• Ready for an NPQ? We’ll fund and mentor you

• Have a clear vision for your career? We’ll help you make it a reality

You’ll be part of a team that invests in your growth — because when teachers thrive, children succeed. Our Early Years Reception classes at Brockmoor and Brierley Hill are exceptional places to teach — joyful, purposeful, and filled with potential.Underpinned by the CUSP Early Foundations Curriculum, our Reception provision is ambitious, language-rich, and designed to secure the strongest foundations. With the support of national EYFS specialist Julie Sherrington, we ensure:

• Foundational knowledge is built every day through responsive, intentional teaching

• Language development is at the heart of every interaction — through storytime, vocabulary teaching, and meaningful talk

• Play is purposeful and designed to extend learning, curiosity, and understanding

• Every child is known, championed, and supported to thrive

We are looking for someone who:

• Has uncompromising expectations for every single child

• Understands that early years education is the cornerstone of long-term success

• Champions the importance of communication and language in every aspect of provision — and is committed to closing the language gap

• Brings energy, commitment, and responsiveness to every learning opportunity

• Is excited to deliver the CUSP Early Foundations curriculum with passion and care

• Works hard, lifts others, and brings warmth and professionalism in equal measure

Come and see for yourself. We strongly encourage visits — and you’re welcome at both schools. We want you to experience the culture, curriculum, and commitment that make our federation an exceptional place to work.
