Job summary

Justteachers is recruiting a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term, permanent role in a welcoming primary school in Halifax. You will support early years learners, assist with observations and learning activities, and help maintain a safe, caring environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification, have experience in EYFS, understand the EYFS framework, and bring a patient, proactive approach with strong safeguarding practice to support pupil

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is required.
• Experience working within an EYFS setting is required.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach is expected.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Deliver engaging activities to support early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Assist with observations, assessments and tracking pupil progress.
• Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development.

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a primary school in Halifax. The school is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive Early Years environment where children can develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. A permanent position is available for the right candidate.
