Job summary

Thrive Education, in partnership with a 2 form entry primary school in Widnes, seeks an experienced Early Years Teacher for a Resource Provision in Speke. The role is temporary to permanent with an immediate start and a supportive environment for children with additional needs.

You will deliver differentiated EYFS lessons, nurture development and work closely with staff to tailor learning to individual needs in a small resource provision.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience of the Early Years curriculum.
• Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally within a resource provision or specialist setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to differentiate and personalise learning effectively.
• A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Teaching within an Early Years resource provision.
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and activities.
• Having a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
• Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Adapting learning to meet a range of individual needs.
• Supporting children's communication, social, emotional and academic development.
• Working closely with support staff, school leaders and external professionals.
• Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
