Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• EYFS teaching experience is required.
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs is required.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver EYFS lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEN, including Autism, communication difficulties and developmental delays.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use creative and practical approaches to engage pupils in learning.
• Support development of communication, social skills, independence and emotional regulation.
• Monitor progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents and external professionals.
