Job summary

Milk Education is working with a welcoming primary school in West Derby (L12), Liverpool, seeking an EYFS SEND TA to start immediately. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role until summer 2026, supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage with a focus on SEND.

You will assist the class teacher, deliver one-to-one and small group support, promote an inclusive, nurturing learning environment, and help pupils stay on task and make progress toward their learning goals.

Qualifications

  • EYFS and SEND experience desirable.
  • Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Recent and relevant experience with children in the past two years.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work under guidance of the teacher.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher and collaborate with support staff.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils.

Overview

EYFS SEND TA - Mainstream

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located in West Derby (L12), who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEND TA to join their team. This role is to start immediately and will be an on-going role until summer 2026. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is full-time and runs Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30.

About the role: The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment. You will provide tailored support to SEND pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, ensuring they remain engaged and make progress in line with their learning goals.
