We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience to join a welcoming Primary School in Kingstanding. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support, while working as part of a supportive and passionate team.

The Role:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities in line with the Early Years curriculum.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils are fully supported in their development.

  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience working with children in Early Years.

  • Strong background in supporting children with SEND needs.

  • A relevant qualification: Level 2/3 in Childcare OR Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning.

  • A positive, resilient, and nurturing approach to supporting children.

  • A valid DBS/Criminal Conviction Check on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
