Job summary

Connex Education are recruiting for a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support Early Years-aged pupils within a specialist SEND school in Newark. This role offers day-to-day work with long-term opportunities and both part-time and full-time hours.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and a Level 3 TA qualification. You will work closely with teaching staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment, supporting pupils with communication, social and emotional development,

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working with Early Years or SEND.
• Full enhanced DBS certificate.
• Two school-based references and completion of onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Support Early Years-aged pupils with learning and development needs.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support under the teacher's direction.
• Promote communication, social and emotional development in pupils.
• Help pupils develop independence and confidence and participate in activities.
