Job summary

Premier Education Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting qualified Early Years Practitioners for casual supply cover across Tameside, including Ashton-under-Lyne, Hyde, Stalybridge, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield.

You'll support children aged 0-5 in a safe environment, promote development through play, and help with meals and personal care as required. A Level 2/3 Childcare or Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, and an enhanced DBS are required. DBS via Update Service preferred.

Opportunities may be available in Ashton-under-Lyne, Hyde, Stalybridge, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield and the surrounding areas. Tell us when and where you want to work, and choose the suitable shifts that fit your schedule. Supply work is offered according to nursery requirements and your availability, so hours are not guaranteed.

Early Years Practitioner - the role

• Supporting children aged 0 - 5 in a safe and nurturing environment
• Encouraging learning and development through play
• Leading creative and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting meals, sleep and personal care routines
• Building positive relationships with children and nursery staff
• Following safeguarding and nursery procedures

Early Years Practitioner - requirements

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Recent experience working with children aged 0-5
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• A warm, patient and adaptable approach
• Reliability and strong communication skills
• The legal right to work in the UK-we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one

The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance. An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all.
