Job summary

Thrive Childcare at Media City Nature Kindergarten in Salford Quays is seeking an Early Years Practitioner Supply to cover flexible, zero-hour shifts. This role supports learning and care for young children with a focus on safety and development.

You will work with colleagues to provide engaging activities, cover holidays, and help children progress toward school readiness. Thrive offers on-site parking and funded training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Years Practitioner preferred.
• Experience supporting children aged 0–5.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

As a Nursery Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop.
• To have an engaging and energetic personality.
• Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience!
• Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
