Job summary

The Mere Nature Kindergarten is seeking an Early Years Practitioner on a supply, zero-hour basis to support our dedicated team in delivering high-quality care and education for children from 3 months to 5 years. This role offers flexible hours to suit your lifestyle while joining a nurturing, nature-based setting.

Unqualified or qualified candidates are welcome, and Thrive supports ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Teamwork and reliability.
• Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging, and fun learning experiences for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Support the team in daily routines, activities, and holiday cover.

About Us

Located on one of Cheshire's busiest commuter routes, The Mere Nature Kindergarten is a well-established and trusted nursery. Our beautifully designed property is ideal for local families or commuters traveling via the A556 to Manchester or the A50 to Warrington.

We are proud holders of the Green Flag Eco School Award, with an active Eco Committee that grows fruit and vegetables in our allotment. Our nursery encourages children to explore nature, discover hidden treasures outdoors, and learn the importance of caring for the environment.
