Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a Supply Early Years Assistant in East Kilbride on a zero-hour, term-time-only basis. The role offers flexible hours that fit around you, with career progression opportunities and training funded by Thrive.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will cover holidays, provide staff cover, and help children develop through engaging activities, safeguarding practices, and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop.
• To have an engaging and energetic personality.
• Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience!
• Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
