Job summary

GSL Education Wirral is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join a warm, community-focused nursery team in CH43. The role involves delivering play-based activities under EYFS, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and supporting daily routines.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; there is potential to progress with on-the-job training and pathways to Early Years qualifications. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM with consistent full-day shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior qualifications required for entry-level candidates.
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS check or Update Service registration.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with EYFS.
• Ensure a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with daily routines, meal times and personal care.
