Job summary

Teaching Personnel is actively recruiting Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to work with welcoming nurseries and pre-schools across the UK. Flexible supply work, part-time hours, or longer-term placements are available, with a dedicated consultant to support you throughout.

You will help deliver EYFS-based activities, promote child wellbeing, and build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues in a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred).
• Experience working with children under 5 years old.
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to childcare.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and play experiences.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe and support children's progress and development.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
• Support daily routines, including play, mealtimes, and outdoor learning.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication skills.
