TeacherActive is recruiting Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to work across a range of nursery settings in Colchester. We offer flexible, ad hoc shifts, part-time or full-time roles, and long-term or permanent positions.

You will support children's learning under the EYFS framework, help deliver engaging activities, assist with daily routines, and work with nursery teams to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• We want candidates with EYFS knowledge and childcare understanding.
• Qualified or unqualified backgrounds considered depending on role requirements.
• Strong communication and caring approach with children.

Responsabilités

• Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Help plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with daily routines including mealtimes and care.
• Support safeguarding and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nursery teams to create a welcoming space.
