Job summary

Position: Early Years Practitioner

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 0-5.
  • Plan and support fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Encourage children's curiosity, confidence, independence and creativity.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Carry out observations and contribute to children's learning journeys and development.
  • Support children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour through a calm, consistent and nurturing approach.
  • Ensure the learning environment is safe, stimulating and welcoming.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated early years team.

  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
  • An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable, although candidates with relevant experience and a strong passion for working in early years are encouraged to apply.
