Early Years Practitioner - Slough

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Position: Early Years Practitioner

Contract: Full-time / Part-time available

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team in Slough.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

The Role

You will work as part of our early years team to:

  • Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 0-5.
  • Support children through engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess and record children's development and progress.
  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's independence.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.

An Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable, although applications from candidates with relevant experience and a genuine passion for early years education are also welcome.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
