Job summary

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire
Position: Early Years Practitioner
Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available

We are looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our welcoming team in Maidenhead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, develop and reach their full potential.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
  • Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 0–5.
  • Plan and support fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Encourage children's curiosity, confidence, independence and creativity.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Carry out observations and contribute to children's learning journeys and development.
  • Support children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour through a calm, consistent and nurturing approach.
  • Ensure the learning environment is safe, stimulating and welcoming.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated early years team.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Caring, patient and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
  • Enthusiastic, creative and committed to providing high-quality early education.
  • A confident communicator with children, families and colleagues.
  • Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.

An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable, although candidates with relevant experience and a strong passion for working in early years are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
