Job summary

Bright Horizons' Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool in Shepherds Bush, West London is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover (11am-3pm, Monday to Friday). You will plan and deliver engaging activities aligned to the EYFS, creating a warm, safe environment that supports children's development and love of learning.

You will hold a full Level 3+ Early Years qualification with a passion for inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience safeguarding/child protection.
• Ability to build trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child.

Nursery – Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £14.98 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Shepherds Bush, West London

We’re looking for a Early Years Practitioner to join our Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool which has great public transport links, being only a short walk from the Goldhawk Road underground station (on the circle and Hammersmith and City lines), as well as some onsite parking.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
