Job summary

Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover, Mon-Fri, at our East Barnet nursery near Arnos Grove and Southgate stations.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, supporting children's development and safeguarding. A Level 3+ EYFS qualification and strong communication with parents are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong safeguarding/child protection knowledge.
• Ability to develop trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Salary – Starting from £28,745.60 / £29,868.80 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata'd) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our East Barnet nursery, located close to Arnos Grove and Southgate stations. This role is for lunch cover working Mon-Fri.

This 86 place setting offers four bright and airy age-specific rooms, with a large outdoor environment for the children to explore, including racing tracks, a vegetable garden, climbing equipment and play trays!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We’re Looking For
