Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for the Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool in Shepherds Bush, West London. The lunch-cover role runs Monday to Friday, 11am–3pm, and involves delivering engaging activities within a warm, inclusive learning environment.

You will plan and deliver activities aligned to the EYFS, support safeguarding, and build partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for key children aligned to milestones.
• Maintain a safe environment that supports expressive learning and exploration.
• Foster trusting partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Salary – £14.98 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Shepherds Bush, West London

We're looking for a Early Years Practitioner to join our Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool which has great public transport links, being only a short walk from the Goldhawk Road underground station (on the circle and Hammersmith and City lines), as well as some onsite parking.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
