Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to support learning, development and wellbeing at Holyrood Shaw, Oldham. The role welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants in a nurturing nursery setting.

Applicants should hold Level 3 Early Years qualification with solid EYFS knowledge, strong communication, and a proactive, caring approach to progress children’s learning and school readiness.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse (preferred).
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress.
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
• Continue your professional development as an Early Years Practitioner.

Job Type: Full Time & Part Time Available

Salary: £13.55 per hour (Level 3)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Holyrood Shaw, Oldham. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
