Job summary

Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner with a Level 3 qualification to support the development of young learners. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, adapting to each child’s needs while providing a safe, nurturing environment in Burgess Hill.

The role focuses on fostering curiosity, social skills and a love of learning through structured play, alongside safeguarding and partnership with families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
• Strong commitment to inclusive learning and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development.

Salary – Starting from £28,073 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner with a level 3 in early years to join our Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
