Job summary

Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for part-time hours (11am-3pm). You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development toward key milestones in a caring, inclusive setting.

The role requires a full or higher Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and strong teamwork with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers

Nursery – Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – From: (level 2) £13.50ph and (level 3) £14.04ph (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Sawbridgewort, Hertfordshire, CM21

Hours - Part time Monday-Friday 11am-3pm or similar shifts

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
